What stays on your device

Images, image URLs, page content, settings, preferences, download history, and filename patterns are processed locally. They live in Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) or are used temporarily for the download workflow. They are not uploaded to our analytics server.

What we collect for product analytics and license activation

When the extension is installed, used, upgraded, or uninstalled, it sends a small product event to our server. An event can include:

• A randomly generated pseudonymous installation identifier used to count unique installs and support license activation
• The event type, such as install, scan outcome, completed download, feature attempt, paywall view, checkout, conversion, or uninstall
• Coarse count buckets, outcome categories, and non-sensitive error categories
• The extension version and browser language
• Campaign parameters or an advertising click identifier if you arrived through a marketing link

These product events do not include the active page URL, the images you scan or download, page content, filenames, your browsing history, or your card details. The installation identifier can be linked to a purchase email, Stripe customer ID, or subscription ID if you start checkout or activate Pro.

License and payment

If you upgrade to a paid plan, the installation identifier is used for license verification, checkout attribution, payment-to-install activation, and Peak Productivity Pro bundle activation. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. We may store your purchase email, plan, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, license key, and installation identifier so Pro remains active on the correct browser profile.

Optional Apps66 membership connection

When you choose to connect an Apps66 membership in a supported version, the extension sends a one-use activation code and its installation identifier to the licensing service at peakproductivity.online. Apps66 checks your subscription with Stripe and sends that service an opaque account reference, the supported extension, membership status and access expiry. The service stores a hashed installation identifier linked to that membership. This makes the identifier pseudonymous, not anonymous.

The raw Apps66 activation code is not saved in extension storage. The service keeps its hash for activation and short retry handling. A separate local membership cache lasts no longer than 24 hours without successful verification. This connection does not send your images, file contents or browsing URLs. Existing standalone licenses remain separate. Manage the linked subscription at Apps66 subscription settings.

You can request removal of a device link or associated license records through support. Uninstalling removes local extension storage but does not cancel a subscription or automatically erase server-side billing records.

Third-party services we use

• peakproductivity.online: product events, license verification, checkout attribution, paid-feature checkout redirect, support, and Peak Productivity Pro bundle activation.
• Apps66: account and subscription management for an optional linked membership.
• Stripe: payment processing for paid plans.
• peakproductivity.online /api/geo: a country-level lookup used to show regional pricing. No precise location is requested.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide, maintain, secure, or measure the extension's disclosed image-download features. It is not sold or used for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending.

Permissions and why we ask for them

The extension declares only the permissions used for its image-scanning and download workflow. The Chrome Web Store entry explains each permission.

Data we do not collect

• Your browsing history
• The active page URL or page content
• The images, image URLs, filenames, or files you process
• Your card details
• Your name or address

Your rights

To request deletion of your installation identifier and associated analytics, checkout, or license records, use the Peak Productivity support form. We will delete the records we can identify from the information you provide.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the last-updated date above will change. Significant changes will also be described in release notes when appropriate.
